Buying Books
Logging in
You must be a member to purchase from www.millsandboon.com.au. This is simply a matter of entering your name and contact details so we can email confirmation of your purchases and subsequently mail your purchases to you. If you're not already a member you can join now. It takes less than two minutes.
Selecting books
To select a book for purchase, simply click the ADD TO CART button below the book you wish to purchase. If you haven't already done so you will be asked to log in. The book will then be added to your personal shopping cart.
Viewing your shopping cart
You can look at the books you've placed in your cart at any time by clicking on the VIEW YOUR CART button on the right-hand side of the page. You will see a line-by-line listing of the items in the cart, including book title, book quantity ordered, price, postage cost and total.
Changing your order
You can edit or change the number of items in your shopping cart up until the point you process your credit card payment. Simply use the arrow to increase or decrease the number of items in the quantity box. To remove items simply click the 'Remove' box.
Buying books
When you are finished shopping, and ready to make your purchases, simply follow the prompts in the shopping cart.

Our system is case sensitive and will not recognise a password if it is written in the wrong case. Have you forgotten your password? No problems, simply click here and we'll email it straight to you.
Registering
The member registration process is straight forward and designed to protect your personal information.
The first step is to complete your name, address, phone and email details. We use this information to personalise your online experience and to communicate with you about your orders. Our system is "clever" enough to remember your information so you don't need to re-enter your details every time you order. Please ensure your email address is entered correctly as this is the main way we will communicate with you.
We hope you'll tick the box to agree to receive emails from us. We promise not to bombard your email account!
When you press the SUBMIT button you're almost there. Our system will automatically send an email to your email address. This email contains your initial "authorisation code" or password that has been automatically assigned by the system.
Please don't close this window when you retrieve your email, simply open a new window to collect your email or your information will be lost. To retrieve the email you need to do one of two things:
If you use Outlook, or some other kind of "on your computer" style system, simply go to your desktop icon and open your email as usual.
If you use a web-based system (like hotmail or yahoo) where you access the internet to collect your mail you need to open up another web page. Go to the Start button on the bottom lefthand side of your screen and select Internet. This will open up a second internet browser for you to use to check your email.
Confirm your registration from your mailbox by clicking on the link that is emailed to you. Then return to our website and click on the sign in button on the top righthand side of the screen.

Update my details
You must be signed in to update your details. Once you are signed in go to top bar and select "My Account". Check your details and make any changes, then click the submit button and your details will be automatically updated.

Payment methods
We offer 2 methods of payment, credit card or Paypal. Both methods are quick and easy to process so you get your books faster.
For credit card payments we accept Mastercard and Visa. Simply enter your credit card details when you place your order. Your card will be debited at the time the order is processed. We use the National Australia Bank (NAB) to process your online payment, as well as the highest levels of encription available to ensure your credit card purchase is fully protected. Please see our security information for details.
For Paypal payments simply follow the screen prompts which will take you to the paypal site and when the payment is complete you will be returned to www.millsandboon.com.au
Order confirmation
Once you complete your purchase, you will immediately be notified by email that we have received your order.
Postage & Handling
Postage & Handling policy
We aim to provide the most cost-effective postage for books for all our customers. If you buy single books or book packs from www.millsandboon.com.au they will be shipped together in one parcel. If you order a book that is unavailable for some reason we will send it to you at a later date or contact you to organise a replacement book. If your order is split we will cover the postage costs on subsequent parcels.
Australian postage rates
Postage to Australian addresses is $6.50 no matter how many books you buy, or where you live! Buy one book or twenty books and pay a flat rate of $6.50. The more you buy, the cheaper your postage becomes.
New Zealand postage rates
Postage to New Zealand addresses is $6.95 no matter how many books you buy, or where you live! Buy one book or twenty books and pay a flat rate of $6.95.
International postage
International postage from Australia is expensive. The postage rates we charge for international addresses reflects the prices we are charged by Australia Post.

Order processing times
All orders are processed and mailed within 72 hours. The normal delivery times are:
- To Australia ranges from 3 to 7 business days
- To New Zealand ranges from 5-12 days
- To countries outside Australia and New Zealand, please allow up to 21 days

Our Australian and international editors select which books are contained in each subscription pack. Each subscription pack contains what we think is the very best selection of romances for that series for that month. This is based on customer feedback, author popularity, and overseas sales.
Because we promise that the subscription packs contain the very best editorial from your favourite series, we are unable to offer choice within individual packs. However, using the internet you are now able to individually select your favourite books and authors and have them delivered direct to your home.
Flexibility of subscriptions
Your subscription can be almost as flexible as you wish. Because we recognise that everyone is different, and everyone's romance reading needs are different we have developed lots of different options for you to choose from.
Here are just a few of the ways you can tailor your subscription to suit you:
- You can receive your subscription every second month

Subscription pack sizes
Most people choose to start with a 4 story subscription. You can request more books each month simply by contacting Customer Service. If you'd prefer to wait, we will send you an offer to receive more books after you've been a subscriber for about 6 months.
Changing subscription series
You can change the series you get at any time. Just contact Customer Service and let us know what you'd like to change to, giving us permission to change your credit card charges (if necessary).
